Pioneer Girls
Pioneer Girls meet here at CUBC on Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m. during the school year.
All girls in grades 1-8 are welcome to attend!
Here is what we have been doing this year:
VOYAGERS ( Gr 1-2) Have been learning how we got the Bible, practicing ball handling skills and learning to measure ingredients to prepare simple foods.
PATHFINDERS ( Gr 3-4) Are learning about the church and how each member works together. They are practicing drama & discovering their talents. They are also collecting food to share with others.
TRAILBLAZERS (Gr 5-6) Are learning the books of the Bible & how to locate things in the Bible. The have done scrap booking, practiced map reading, enjoyed a pizza party & made prayer jars for friends who are sick.
CHALLENGERS ( Gr 7-8) Have been studying how we are God's masterpiece, created in His image. They have made clay creations and practiced following a recipie to make cookies to share with others.
This fall we all enjoyed WESTERN NIGHT with a gold rush game, special races & singing around a campfire. We also had a color scavenger hunt, a Bible Roundup Quiz Gsmr & Bible charades. We enjoyed Roller Skating with Boy's Brigade. Some of the special events which are planned include an Indoor Snow Party & a Talent Show.
