The library committee cordially invites everyone to visit us in the library. We will be more than willing to help you in any way we can.
If you are looking for new reading material, check out section " L" and on the doors. New books are featured in each section. There is plenty of reference material available for any Bible study.
Parents, encourage your children. They are more than welcome to visit our childrens' sections- "I" and "J".
How to Find a Book (See Layout at Bottom of this Page)
1. Ask the library attendant if one is available.
2. If attendant is not available, and you know the title, you can look the book up in the card catalogue "G" by title or author.
3. You will find the book listed either "FIC"(fiction) or "numbered"(non fiction).
4. Fiction books will be listed as such. (Ex: Karen Kinsbury will be listed as "FIC/Kin" on the spine. Go to section "C" and look for the listing on the spine of the book. Follow the books until you come to "Kin". The look at the titles.
5. Non-fiction books or reference books will have a number listed on the spine. (Ex: 921.2) Go to section "H" or "M" and search until you find the number then look at the titles.
How to Check Out a Book
1. After find a book, proceed to the checkout desk "N".
2. Remove the card from the pocket on the inside back cover of the book.
3. Sign the card
4. Stamp the return date on the card and on the date due slip in the book.
5. The due date can be found by looking at the calendar on the desk and figure two weeks from today.
6. Take the date stamp found on the table and change the date. First will be the month, then due date, and finally the year.
7. Leave the signed card on the desk and checkout will be complete.
How to Return a Book
1. After reading the book, you may return it to the box located to the right of the doors in the chapel.
2. If the librarian is on duty, you may give the book to them.
3. If it takes you longer than two weeks to read the book, don't worry. You can renew it by the same process as when you checked it out.
